Getting to Roundshaw
For those techies this will get
you to Roundshaw playing fields CRO 4RW
To Roundshaw open space/playing
fields pitches.
This is the venue for our
football trials
Along
Stafford road Wallington turn into Hannibal way. Drive pass power
league up to the changing rooms Block
where their is ample parking and walk up the playing fields to the
top tier.
From Croydon
(five minutes drive from the Fairfield Halls)
Take the Croydon flyover towards Sutton. Follow the road down the
hill and fork left at the lights. At the next set of traffic lights
(Five Ways) go straight across to Stafford Road. Drive along
Stafford Road taking the fourth turning left into Hannibal way.
Drive pass power league up to the changing rooms Block
where their is
ample parking and walk up the playing fields to the top tier.
From Purley/Kenley/Caterham etc
(five minutes from Purley) Take the A22 to Purley Cross. At Purley
Cross go straight across the junction and up the hill (Banstead
Road). Very soon you will come to a right turn which used to have an
arrow signposted to Wallington but a new arrow has been pasted over
pointing straight ahead! Turn right here - Plough Lane. Follow this
along and it will turn into Foresters Drive, continue along
Foresters Drive until you see Stafford road where you turn right at
these lights. Go along Stafford Road across the next set of lights
then take the first turning left into Hannibal way. Drive past power
league up to the changing rooms block where their is
ample parking and walk up the playing fields to the top tier.
From the M25 via the A22 (15-20 minutes)
Come off at junction 6, the A22 and take the
exit towards Croydon and Caterham. Follow the A22 past Caterham,
through Kenley, Whyteleafe and towards Purley. At Purley Cross (a
big junction where the A22 meets the A23) go straight across the
junction and up the hill (Banstead Road). Very soon you will come to
a right turn which used to have an arrow signposted to Wallington
but a new arrow has been pasted over pointing straight ahead! Turn
right here - Plough Lane. Follow this along and it will turn left
leading into Foresters Drive, continue along Foresters Drive until
you see Stafford road where you turn right at these lights. Go along
Stafford Road across the next set of lights then take the first
turning left into Hannibal way. Drive past power league up to the
changing rooms where a steward will direct you where their is ample
parking. Power league up to the changing rooms block
where their is
ample parking and walk up the playing fields to the top tier.
To Roundshaw park pitches
is at the junction of Foresters Drive
and Mollison Drive, near the shops.There is free parking on the street.
From Croydon
(five minutes drive from the Fairfield Halls)

Road to the next set of traffic lights and turn left into Mollison
Drive. Follow Mollison Drive.
From Croydon by bus
The 154 and 455 buses from West Croydon bus station both stop
directly outside the Phoenix Centre. The 154 is the quickest and
also goes from outside the Fairfield Halls. Ask for the Phoenix
Centre on Mollison Drive, Roundshaw.

Mollison Drive opposite the shops.
From Coulsdon
(ten minutes drive)
From the Brighton Road turn up Woodcote Grove Road which later turns
into Smitham Bottom Lane. Continue along Smitham Bottom Lane and
across the mini roundabout (here it turns into Woodcote Road). Take
the fourth right hand turn after the mini roundabout - Sandy Lane
South. Go along Sandy Lane South until you get to another mini
roundabout where you turn right and immediately left (The Newlands).
At the end of The Newlands turn right and immediately left into
Mollison Drive.
From Wallington
From Sainsbury's follow Stafford Road towards Croydon until you get
to a set of traffic lights at Sandy Lane South. Turn right here and
follow the road until it turns into Foresters Drive and soon you
will see Mollison Drive where you turn left. The is signposted
and is almost immediately on the right hand side of Mollison Drive
near the shops. The S4 shopper bus from Wallington stops right
outside the park.
From the M25 via
