Match Report 15 November 2009 ironsides away What can I say great weather fantastic pitch if we win we go top of the league. All that should have truly got us going, however the result from both teams was at times lack lustre and seemed to me to be to much like hard work, they scored we scored 1-1. with 38 minutes to go the game went even flatter by both teams it could have been that we just cancelled each other out. Who am I to say I am left scratching my head. After their second goal goes in from a throw in our heads drop we pick ourselves up and have several chances all to no avail. Game over 2-1 to ironsides. I tear into the team during the post mortem talk their heads are all down as they know the game was theirs for the taking but we just couldn't get out of fourth gear in a 20 mile an hour zone. I know I was incredibly hard and brutal in this rant and I apologise for that however all the points I made where valid even through I delivered them harshly. I am a winner with a track record to prove it I selected all of you individuals because I believe you are all winners and can be moulded you into a great squad. I as you should believe you all have that self discipline within you that it takes to be a winners so you stand out from the crowd. Your self discipline doesn't mean being a boring git and it will make the difference throughout your lives.
